:: WP Weekly Photo Challenge: Ephemeral

Once I learned the name of this tree, but can’t remember anymore. All I know is that every March it says good bye to Summer coloring the street. After the tiny yellow flowers bloom, the pink bracts come and rapidly turn into brownish. In no more than a couple of days.

Uma vez eu aprendi o nome desta árvore, mas não me lembro mais. Tudo o que sei é que todo março ela diz adeus ao verão colorindo a rua. Depois que as pequenas flores amarelas florescem, as brácteas rosa vêm e rapidamente se transformam em aamarronzadas. Em não mais do que alguns dias.
