:: January CDP Theme Day: Photo of the Year

2016 will be remembered by my visit to New England in USA to accomplish one item of my bucket list: see the autumn spectacle of the tree leaves changing colors. The only similar prodigy I can recall that happens here is the Terminalia Catappa that loses its leaves in late winter, preparing for spring. This photo was taken 2 years ago in a block that has a row of some such trees. Alongside is a local photo from a place 7.600km away from BH.
The first of the month is theme day for the City Daily Photo community (CDP) and this month it is ‘Photo of the Year’. Visit City Daily Photo theme day page to view many interpretations of the theme.

  1. I am still waiting to see this someday. Trees are one of my favorite photo subjects, and I’d like to capture these in all their glory if I ever get a chance. Great job! Happy New Year!

    1. I was there after 20th October, probably one week earlier would be better especially to drive the Kankamagus Road NH, depending on climate conditions of the year. I hope you can make it next year. Unmissable!
