Last week I visited Inhotim, an institute of contemporary art and botanical garden, and saw this curious palm tree. (Popular name: Paxiuba) Long part of its roots are aerial. The smaller one, at right could stand upright, but the larger one at left needs a stake to hold its trunk. They are original from Central and Northern South America.
