:: Monday Murals: War and Peace

In years 1952 to 1956, Portinari painted two murals (46ft x 33ft, each) donated to the building of UNO in New York. In 2010 they returned to Brazil to be restored in Rio de Janeiro. After recovery, they were exhibited in São Paulo and Fortaleza. On October and November we could visit them in the reopening of Cine Theatro Brasil here in BH. On May 2014 they will be in Grand Palais, Paris and then will return to UN Headquarters in NYC. They can be seen in details here.
