:: Weekly Photo Challenge: Pattern

When I entered this church I intended to photograph its walls all covered in paintings. But as I crossed the door I saw it was undergoing renovations. Disappointment turned into revelation. Full of scaffolding, I found a beautiful metal frame mixed with strips of fabric. The geometric pattern of the tubes viewed from a low perspective became an accidental and confuse pattern traversed by the tissues.

Quando entrei nesta igreja, pretendia fotografar suas paredes todas cobertas com pinturas. Mas quando atravessei a porta vi que ela estava em reforma. A decepção se transformou em uma revelação. Cheia de andaimes, encontrei uma bela estrutura metálica misturada com tiras de tecido. O padrão geométrico dos tubos visto de uma perspectiva baixa tornou-se um desenho confuso e aleatório atravessado pelos tecidos.
